Takashi was lying face down on his futon, not even wanting to move a single muscle. He was so wasted - giving back a name sapped energy like nothing else and his so-called body guard was leisurely partying the night away with the local youkai inside his room leaving him no time to recuperate even then.
The teenage boy let out a heavy sigh only to soon after be startled when the door to his room opened and in came a most peculiar looking cat - if one could even think of it as such. “Oh, it’s just you Sensei,” Takashi said and lazily let his head drop back down on the pillow.
Nyanko sensei opened the door, his cheeks were pink from all the sake he has been drinking, though that wasn’t enough to get him drunk. He still had one tempura fish in his mouth: “Those youkai don’t know how to have fun.” The spirit mumbled as he stepped into the room.
When Nyanko sensei heard Natsume’s voice, he turned to him just to find that the boy was tired, lying in bed— that changed his mood. The cat eat the tempura before talking: “What are you doing?! Did you just return another name, Natsume?! Look at The Book of Friends! It’s only gettin’ tinier! It’ll be empty by the time I inherit it!” He used his paw to hit the floor next to the futon to add emphasis to his words.
